Our Women’s Initiatives Executive Committee (WIEC) members work closely with AICPA staff to produce necessary and appropriate resources, as well as prepare for speaking engagements on the subject around the country. They are all dedicated to executing the Women’s Initiatives Executive Committee mission and vision and spreading the message for the need of women’s initiatives.
Vision: To assist the accounting profession with creating a culture for women to succeed in a variety of roles; fill the gap in personnel and mirror the marketplace.
Mission: Promote and support the success of women to advance the profession together.
Purpose:
Promote the accounting profession in such a way that encourages women to join and stay.
Provide resources to women in our profession to help them achieve high levels of success.
Engage and educate both men and women to build a robust, full-service profession.
