Participation in the event supports the AICPA Foundation which is committed to supporting and growing the next generation of accountants. The AICPA Foundation has been supporting aspiring accounting students for more than 100 years through scholarships, grants and fellowships, and career development opportunities. Last year’s inaugural golf event raised $63,000 for the Foundation.
“The initial thought for the Golf Classic was for it to be an event where people could come back year after year and play to support the profession,” said Christopher Radford, Senior Manager – AICPA Foundation Development & Fundraising. “Pairing it with ENGAGE made most since because of the thousands of accounting professionals who would already be in Las Vegas to attend the conference.”
